Heavy duty chlorinated high-pressure cutting and grinding fluid
ASTRO-CUT HIGH PRESSURE HD combines the superior chemical flexibility of synthetics with mineral oil and a chlorinated extreme-pressure additive. ASTRO-CUT HIGH PRESSURE HD has exceptional foam control, hard water stability and tramp oil rejection. It provides outstanding extremepressure lubricity for machining and grinding virtually all metals, particularly Aluminum, Stainless Steels and other hard to machine alloys. ASTRO-CUT HIGH PRESSURE HD is not recommended for use on Magnesium.

Biostability:
BIOSTABILITY refers to the ability of a metalworking coolant to resist extreme biological degradation. This provides extremely long sump life in a properly maintained machine tool and diminishes the possibility of "Monday Morning Odor".
Applications:
Designed for use in high and low pressure metal removal operations such as all CNC milling, turning, drilling, tapping, grinding and sawing.

When mixing coolant, it is best to use an automatic proportioner which accurately and thoroughly mixes
coolant. Always replenish the coolant with a mixture of coolant and water, not just coolant or water.
Never add coolant concentrate directly to the sump.
IMPORTANT! At concentrations below 4%, the biostability of this product may be compromised, leading to much shorter sump life. To insure maximum coolant life, sump should be thoroughly cleaned and neutralized using ASTRO-CLEAN A prior to charging machine with ASTRO-CUT HIGH PRESSURE HD.
